I discovered what looks like a fresh crack on the far side of the building. It is located just above our master bedroom window and we understand it is in the area most under stress from vibrations caused by buses and HGV's traversing the crossing adjacent to our home.
Sadly we have had our fair share of experience with the velocity of shocks in this part of the building: These days it is only possible to get a nights rest in our master bedroom outside bus schedule operating hours (approx. 0:15 until 05:40) - if there is no HGV traversing the crossing at night time.
